Wish the strikers the best, i hope that bastard Crozier gets whats coming to him. I find what he said here pretty funny: “We are losing business because we have failed to change and modernise – and as a result, our costs and therefore our prices are higher than those that rivals are charging in the intensely competitive business mail market, which makes up 90% of all postings, That’s the issue everyone in Royal Mail has to face and why we are so ready to continue talking with the union about the need to modernise.”

I find all these words rather worrying out of a service that should be for the people. And they only want the union (CWU) to modernise because its still got quite a few millitant trade unionists within it. It may be reformist (What union isn’t?) but its still a threat to the increasingly pro business governments we’re facing today, its one of the last big unions.

Hi, i registered here ages ago but i kept forgetting to post anything. I’m from manchester, specifically stockport (A place of consumerist misery which i’d rather forget), i love free parties, but a lot of them in manchester have fucked up recently, the last one we tried to have (last saturday) got broken up by the bloody cows, and the even bigger one at belle vue where they went crazy at us, they were seriously like monsters. Was anyone else here at that one? After belle vue there was one pretty big free party that did happen but after that they have been much smaller, i am hoping that a massive one can be pulled off soon, it has been too long.
